Would you like to work as a nurse in municipal health and medical care? Timrå municipality is now looking for nurses/district nurses for hourly employment during the summer of 2026.

Timrå municipality has a well-developed teamwork with nursing staff, planners, rehab, unit managers, and assistance officers. Together, we work for close care based on the patient's needs and conditions.

Responsibilities

The work as a nurse in municipal health and medical care involves independently assessing, planning, organizing, and performing medical treatment and nursing interventions. During on-call hours, you will work as a nurse for home care, special housing, LSS, and patients belonging to palliative medicine. Assignments from 1177 also occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or district nurse.

You feel confident working independently and mentoring others. You have a holistic view in your work with people and are positive, attentive, and empathetic. You are solution-focused and can prioritize your tasks. You have a good demeanor, contribute to a good work environment, and find it easy to collaborate.

Previous experience in municipal home care and/or district nurse education is an advantage. If you are a newly graduated nurse and curious about working in home care and/or special housing, do not hesitate to apply. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Hourly employment with the possibility of extension.
